Aside from the usual bitching about Friend Codes and lack of voice chat and such, it worked very well. Mario Strikers Charged is also the first major Wii game to offer online competitive play. And of course, you can throw Koopa shells around the arena, making for nonstop havoc. Mario can grow giant, Peach can freeze opponents with her Polaroid camera for some reason, and Daisy can perform the mysterious Crystal Smash (above). You can try to score a few goals quickly, or play around with the ball and charge a lengthy shot in hopes of building a commanding lead in mere seconds - if you're good or lucky enough.
